I can't seem to get Sega CD to work on retropie. I put the BIOS in the Bios folder and put the game Isles into the Sega CD folder and the games appear but when I try to launch them brings me to the black screen where it says press a to mess with the settings and then after the black screen goes away it just boots me right back into the retropie GUI. I have no idea what's wrong hoping somebody can help me out.

Sounds like a BIOS issue. Have a look at the Retropie wiki and make sure your BIOS files are named correctly.

@Shmeter.man are you using a thumb drive to put the bios on? There are issues with the sega cd bios' and that method. Use something like winscp to put the bios files on.
