Hello fellow retro gamers!
Im very new to the Retro Emulation scene...
I did grow up with Snes,Sega,Psx but i cant remember me playing any rpgs back then besides i was probably to young to even understand whats going on (Im 28 BTW) anyways Im looking for some really good retro RPG/JRPG that i never got to Experience can anyone give me a list that will keep me busy for a while? Also i got another question kind of off topic but
When i play these retro games i play them on my HDMI monitor should i look into on hooking it up to a CRT? I do have one but i heard composite is rly low quality image and hard to read text or is the best way to go HDMI? With scanline feature?Anyway love to hear what yall got to say..

Here's a good starting point

SNESDRUNK is awesome! I just recently watched his entire playlist of reviews over the course of a week at work, might have to do that again.

Nice Just dont know which to start with hahaha thanks for the great channel..
Also should i keep my pi on hdmi or is composite best? -
@retrofreak89 If you do have a CRT at home it'd be a crime not to hook it up. Don't listen to "composite=compo$hite" stuff - yes, it's lower quality but obviously it's not SO bad - back in the days that's how nearly everybody was playing those games after all :D
Also, there are RGB cables/add ons for higher quality, ranging from fairly cheap & simple to more expensive and complex ones.
HDMI, emulated scanlines and other filters/shaders are okay I guess, for those who can't be bothered with the whole CRT game, but if you already have one at home you really need to try it at least once. For me, the original quality and "look" is impossible to replicate on modern TVs (even though some solutions are pretty impressive).

@retrofreak89 You need to look online, like people said in the other thread. Even if you don't use ebay you can buy it from some off-ebay RPi reseller.

@retrofreak89 made for iPod with video or Zune cables work great, other than that, get a cable from pi-supply, element14 or pimoroni, anything from those sites will work for sure.
