I hooked my RPi 3 up to my 32" 1080P TV and i get top and bottom black borders on the ES gui and games. Connecting my PC to this TV has no such issue. The TV has a game mode that I set to ON with my PC so it fits just right. When I set my TV game mode to ON with RPi the top/bottom black borders get even bigger. RA is set to integer scale off and full screen like it should be.
      Any ideas? Thank you.

Edit: ES even has a slight black border on left and right side too.

Also just to note, if I plug my 16:10 asus monitor into my RPi it fills the whole screen with ES like I would expect, but games still have black border all the way around.

Edit: another note is that I did google some on this first and found to disable overscan in the config file. this worked for ES only if I turned off game mode on my TV but games were all still black borders all around.
