@danigood What ES version are you running? Can you take a picture/video with your phone for it to be clearer what you're referring to?

Also if I have enabled OMX Player the Video Preview does not lay behind the Magazine, is there any way I can adjust this and keep the OMX player enabled??

@danigood thanks. No, there's no way to get that to work with OMX Player, apologies. It's hardware accelerated and runs via a different video pipeline.

As for your remark, I certainly don't recall it being like that, but I believe that may have cropped up recently. @jdrassa Do you think this may be related to the recent-ish improvement in the handling of the carousel images and zoom? Do you think we may have lost some z-index bit in the transition, whereas in the past having a separate image, perhaps even being rendered after all the others, would have not been noticeable?

              Any ideas?

@pjft @danigood I will have to download the theme and test it out, but looking at the screenshot, the carousel images are not being rendered at the proper aspect ratio. They are being rendered square, but in the images in at the top the images are rectangular like a typical magazine cover.

@jdrassa Huh. Well spotted. The plot thickens.

@danigood What ES version are you running, and out of curiosity, what aspect ratio is your display/resolution? I take it it's 16:9, 1920:1080 but that's just an assumption.

@danigood Please Download my Updated Versions and tell us it works or not. My Versions are with .png images and different theme.xml.
The newest Versions with .jpg works not for me, too.

The v2.3 rar file that you've linked to contains some files that don't match the previews. For example, the Wii magcover.png that is in this rar has the Custom Collections cover rather than the expected Wii cover from the system.png in the background. It also has the smartphone graphic, while the one in your preview image does not. I like the graphics from the previews you posted in this thread. Will you be releasing those?

This Emulationstation Theme is a Remix from the "ALEKFULL-BELLO (v2)" and the "MagazineMadness"
Its not finished yet. Some Texts of the Consoles not changed. And some Wallpapers not finished.
                                    I call it "Magazine-Bello" :D
