      Pi Model B+
Power Supply is a Samsung Travel Adapter, which lists it's output as either 9.0V - 1.67A or 5.0V - 2.0A
RetroPie is version 4.2, built directly from the official image (retropie-4.2-rpi1_zero.img)
Connected via USB are one keyboard and the problematic Playstation 3 controller

I set up RetroPie yesterday, and did initially have some troubles with the controller. However, it worked after following the instructions I found here.
After that, it worked entirely throughout the rest of the day, even after a few reboots.

But now, today, I turned it on once again and it flat out no longer detects the PS3 controller as being there. It lists only 1 controller (the keyboard) as connected and does not respond to button presses. The controller itself does not display the P1 LED, instead flashing all four for a little bit and then stopping. My actual Playstation 3 is unplugged so as not to reconnect to that on accident.

I have tried turning it off and back on, unplugging and replugging the controller, and returning the overclocking to normal, but neither have worked so far. I may retry the initial solution yesterday, but since it's a different issue in a way, plus it takes quite a while, I'm hesitant to do so before finding out if there's some other issue.
The controller works on other devices (ie my PC) so I doubt it's an issue with that.

So, oddly, I figured out how to make it work. Not sure why though.
So for starters, it started working again yesterday (when I made the post), but I didn't know how. Regardless, today it stopped working again.

However, it was fixed quite simply. I plugged it into my PC, and then plugged it back into my Pi. Now it works fine again. I have no idea why, though.
