Problem with PS3 controller when using wireless keyboard
-
hey guys i was using the ps3 controller via usb cable and it worked flawlessley as player 1 with the select+ start button for quitting the games and the ps button for the retroarch menu. then i've bought a wireless keyboard + mouse from trust and now i cant use the buttons anymore. the joystick configuration still says that the ps3 controller is player 1 but i cant quit the games via start + select and have to reboot the pi every time.

@fruitspunch the problem is a lot of mini keyboard and mice are also seen as a controller. So if it is a bluetooth one its a problem because it sets bluetooth devices as first controllers. If it isnt bluetooth and has a dongle, just swap usb ports.

@fruitspunch edit. Use joystick selection to set the ps3 controller as player 0. Should fix the issue

i already put the ps3 controller in the upper left usb port and the dongle in the lower right but to no avail. the problem is that i can only configure the ps3 controller as player 1 but cant do anything about the keyboard because the raspberry doesnt recognize it.

@fruitspunch use joystick selection in retropie menu to force the ps3 controller as player 1. If it isnt there go into runcommand, enable joystick selection and reboot.

still doesnt work. thats how its looking and the ps3 controller is the only option i can choose whether he keyboard dongle is plugged in or not
