Wooden Bartop Arcade 2 Players with plans and photos
-
Hi guys,
I've just finished my Bartop Arcade and open sourced it (with plans, measurements and much more)!
Here the features:- Wood cabinet;
- 17″ LCD Monitor
- Stereo speakers
- LED backlit Marquee
- Panel control for 2 players
If you are interested in making this Bartop, I created a Git repo with all the sources under the MIT license.
I made a post where I explain how I made this Bartop and where you'll find the photos during the construction. This is the job done (thanks to RetroPie and Raspberry Pi):
Have fun!

@edmaul69 Thanks a lot :) I love wood too because it connects us to the natural world and allows us to bring a bit of the outdoors inside!

Beautiful job, very clean.
and the wood makes it look very old school. even more old school then the true black ones. -
All this talk about wood got me wood when I saw this.
Sorry could not help myself....

@snakko Looks like a nice, clean Bartop. Nicely done! I especially like the stained wood and the clean display bezel. I see a lot of folks skip that, but yours has a nice black overlay and an opening that doesn't show any hardware.
Is that a USB port in the front? I use that same USB port on mine!

@caver01 Thanks a lot! Yes, it's an USB port, the original plan was with Raspberry 2 (so no WiFi) but now it's using a Raspberry 3 (so the USB port could be an optional 'cause WiFi). The main purpose is to attach keyboards/gamepads or transfer ROMs to the Bartop.
