First post here, old computer junkie but I admit I know very little about the pi.

Not sure if this is possible. I have a pi3 B model running retropi (which I love btw!) So there is a wireless antenna built in. The pi is connected to my router via powerline Ethernet since it's located on the edge of my routers signal range. I also have the kodi add on and it's replaced my Android box. Works better actually.

So....anyway to set this up? Keep in mind that I'm a Linux idiot....thanks.

        Hi @zero_gravity

Check out this article on the RaspberryPi site

        https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/wireless/access-point.md

Bear in mind, that this will probably use CPU on the Pi so you probably don't want to be using it for other stuff at the same time.

@simonster it's certainly worth a try, thank you!

Only thing I'm not sure about....it mentions having an up to date version of raspberian....all I have installed is the retropi os and kodi is installed as a port.

@zero_gravity You can try, but the pi works best functioning as one thing at a time. Its no powerhouse for multitasking.
