When I try to run retroarch from the bash command line I get the "command not found" error. Even when just typing the command on its own without options.

      pi@retropie:~ $ retroarch
      -bash: retroarch: command not found
      pi@retropie:~ $

I'm running a Raspberry Pi 3 with a fresh install of RetroPie 4.2. The game I wish to run works fine from the ES menu using lr-mame2003. What am I missing here?

I'm trying to follow these Wiki instructions. I must be missing something simple here, anyone who can point it out?

      Thanks

Pi Model or other hardware: Pi3
Power Supply used: (If using a Pi) official Raspberry pi PSU
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: wireless dongle for USB keyboard and mouse
      Controller used: keyboard
Error messages received: -bash retroarch: command not found
      Guide used: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/FAQ/#how-would-i-start-from-command-line-say-the-snes-emulator-by-itself
File: retroarch - not sure of path as bash cannot find it
Emulator: lr-mame2003, though not event getting as far as a full command line yet.
How to replicate the problem: Quit ES and type "retroarch" at the command line

        Found the solution.

Instead to just entering retroarch at the command prompt I needed to enter the full path of the binary or /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch in this case.

If you are already in the /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/ directory you need to type ./retroarchto run the command.
