Image Ripping and recompiling

Hello All

Perhaps I'm not using the correct search criteria.
However as you know the web is full of rebuild retro pie images, what I would like to know, I have managed to extract an image.

I now want to add or delete files as roms as I require and then rebuild the image and flash to the mem card.

Is this possible?

@derikpelser we do not support third party images and if you use third party images most are illegal, but you're also opening yourself up to likely malware.

Please use the official image we provide.
