Ok, I admit it, I am search challenged. I've tried every combination I can think of and haven't found the answer.

All I want to be able to do is to remove a couple of the 'Help' menu options at the bottom of the main screen. Specifically 'System' & 'Choose'. I don't use them and they at times get in the way of screen display.

      Appreciate any help.

      Cheers!

I'm pretty sure you can turn the bottom bar in Emulationstation off in the "Start" menu. I don't think you can remove individual items from the bar.

@tanstaafl if you want to get rid of all of it, which is the only way i know how is to just edit the theme to position it completely off the screen. there is a new option in the new emulationstation that lets you use an image as the help menu, but i dont know how to do that yet.
