SNES mini theme

First off, this theme is fantastic :D
I'm setting up ES on a Windows based PC so I've got a few emulators that are missing from Retropie: PS2, GC, Wii, WiiU, 3DS, Sega Saturn. Any chance of these being added in an update? Alternately, if there's a template image I could try doing my own.

Anyone have Scummvm for snesmini theme? I added personal collection with artwork and looks awesome! Force to use another theme do so it looks good :)

I decided to play around a little with @ruckage 's theme.
Went for more of an arcade look instead of game systems. What do you guys think?
-
@kal-el-1981 looks good u doing on any system or only on arcade?
-
@kal-el-1981 Looks too busy and doesn't really fit the retro, old school theme.

Think out of the box for a minute: if he make new icons for systems, this could be the born of a new theme for arcade Bartops!!! For me, the concept looks awesome!!!
One fate: @ruckage made a so good work on this system select screen, that anyone wanna do something similar!!! It's simple, it's beauty, it's great!!! If someone make an update on carbon theme to use this structure but with icons that could be used in any project (kind of GPL licence), could be the new standard theme for Retropie!!!

...however I am having problems with how the borders and text line up when using any of the layouts with metadata.
Happy New Year man!!! Sometime ago I've got this exactly problem, with the same DVI to HDMI cable, but for squared resolutions. I've solved this looking on Retropie config menu for a config that changes Raspberry pi video resolution. On my issue, I've found that Retropie thinks the aspect ratio is 5:4 instead of 4:3. Your issue could be an 16:10 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 accepted on the themes. Another solution is change the cable for a HDMI to VGA adapter. This solved my problem 100%

Any chance of a Supergrafx icon and the current
cps2 one in Blue & Orange please

I love this theme. However, I can't get it to work properly. At first, nothing showed up. After looking around and trying different versions of ES, I got @jdrassa latest continuous build for Windows. I'm on Windows, btw. Now, it seems to mostly work but there are still problems. It looks like the problems stem from the '${region]' type of variables defined in the skin. My system doesn't seem to be handling those variables.
Is there another version of ES I should be using? What can I do to get this great skin working? Thanks in advance.

EmulationStation v2.7.4RP for Windows (latest continuous build) seems to break this theme. The old nesmini theme still works for this version of ES.
Also, still missing theme graphics for Sega Saturn (this emu doesn't exist for Raspberry Pi, but exists for Windows, maybe Linux).

You didn't really give me much to go on as you don't even say what problems you are having....
However I've just downloaded the latest continuous build and there does seem to be a problem with the default variables so that the icons and background images aren't displaying. I've left a message for @jdrassa in the variable support forum so hopefully he'll be able to advise on where the problem lies.
If this isn't the problem you're having you're going to need to provide more info/screenshots. -

I'm aware of the problem with the latest continuous build and I know that Saturn isn't supported, it will be done when I get around to it (it's not a priority as systems supported by retropie/raspberry pi come first).

@ruckage Since the other user didn't provide a screenshot, here's a screenshot...

@platimus Don’t act like an ass. He is providing this theme and insane amount of work out of kindness.
This theme was designed for RetroPie. Not EmulationStation on Windows. He is trying to provide support as best he can to everyone’s unique set up but there are so many moving variables to people’s set ups that it’s hard.
If you want support, you should provide actual details: platform, resolution, detailed description of your issue, screenshots. Don’t put the burden on the creator to solve your issues when using the theme in a way it wasn’t designed to be used.
-
@livefastcyyoung I have a coding background. I did extensive trouble-shooting. I gave very specific information about where the problem was. I was not the ass here.
I'm sure all of Ruckage's fanbois will disagree though. So farewell.
-
@platimus If you’ve got this myriad of qualifications, fix it yourself then.
This is a community that does nothing but try its best to help and troubleshoot. However, when people are acting rude and entitled, the community isn’t going to trip over itself to help them. If you don’t want to treat other users and creators with basic common decency, you aren’t going to find yourself getting a whole lot of help. Or very welcome for that matter.

At no point did you describe the symptoms of the problems you are having, without that info I have to make assumptions and can often end up wasting my time as the problem could be something completely different.
You could have simply said the 'icons and background are missing' or posted a screenshot - I don't see the issue with expecting a bare minimum of information when being asked for help.
Despite that I went out of my way to install the latest windows version and have made enquiries as to the cause to try and help you. -
Stop further free support for all your themes immediately.
All themes of yours work as they should on a "normal" TV & Retropie setup. Anything else is to be considered a custom setup.Someone wants a new system? Click that damn donation button and drop some good amount of $$ and only then you should move your fingers.
The theme doesn't work on a XXXXXX setup? Click that damn donation button first and drop some $$ and only then you should even bother to look for additional theme modifications.People just take things for granted and don't understand, appreciate and value the time and hard work that is behind such a theme.
I always wonder do they breed that kind of type of human somewhere? He ain't the first one that behaved like that and he sure won't be the last one. Real shame.

@ruckage this guy is using an unsupported emulationstation version. Your theme has features that are only supported by Retropie emulationstation version, this includes Raspberry pi and Ubuntu script. This isn't your fault, it's a ES devs fault.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
