Can not edit boot config

Hi I am new to all this so please be patient with me
I am try ing to rotate my view on retropie 90 degrees (look at it side ways)
Boot up ok
Press f4 ok
Type in sudo nano /boot/config.txt press enter and get message no file directory
Please someone help me -
