Certain Arcade games have their moves list online in jpg/png format,is there any way of creating a folder for the moves lists and using the same program that previews splashscreens to cycle through various moves lists and have it as an entry in emulationstation ie a "move lists" system? so you can have samurai_showdown_list.jpg, kingoffighters 98.jpg etc etc and check the moves before playing the games? preferably in full screen view

Could make an image for each game using the marquee tag?

Or you could have the moves list in text format in the description field in your gamelist? Could even make your own font with the arcade buttons? i.e like this: http://www.dafont.com/iconic-psx.font

@sashby thanks I'll try both and see which works best ..it still would have been great to have a folder just for images, since that's immutable..the description field and marquee can change if someone accidentally scrapes images..a folder with the moves in jpg format is permanent

@kdretro You could try using overlays? I'm not sure of the proper names, but you can put images over arcade games so they cover the black bars on the left and right of the screen.

You could make custom ones for each game you wanted to show the controls for.

You could take a look at this thread about adding your own art. It may give you some ideas.

yep doing it as an overlay is a great idea, you have to sacrifice some screen space though, and it wont go well with games that have many characters such as King Of Fighters but it will work with most games..so thanks
