Wireless controller with Raspberry Pi 3

Hi, new to the forum and wondered if there is a list of wireless controllers that will work with Raspberry Pi 3 w Retropie? I believe I have Bluetooth built in so if any controllers will work without a dongle?

@nickmeister The Controller section in the Wiki has a list of controllers and how they work with RetroPie, if you have a controller in mind you can check there.
I had good experience with the PS4 DualShock controllers and the 8Bitdo SFC30 one, both worked without problems with the RPI 3 bluetooth. -
