Lunar Silver Star Harmony font issue
-
I have the PPSSPP emulator on my retropie, but when I play Lunar Silver Star Harmony the text and font are too large and what is being displayed gets cut off. Apparently this is an issue with the PPSSPP, and there are fixes when its on a normal computer, but with this being retropie I have no idea if I can even alter the font size.
I have 2 pics one that shows how it looks on a regular computer with the font corrected, and another that shows how it is on my retropie
-
The raspberry pi version looks better to me, The PC version is the one that looks screwed up.
-
@lilbud if you look text is cut off. The pc versions shows "Far too long, you alone have stood as the master of this world."
While on the Pie it says "For far too long, you alone have as the master of this world."
That is only from the first bit. I have gotten where words cut out mid sentence.
-
Ah, gotcha. I thought the issue was the weird spacing but that is the PC version. I mixed up the pictures.
-
@lilbud yeah I understand it took me a few moments to notice.
-
@kamen-rider both are actually messed up. All three lines of text are supposed to be in the shadow box. You probably want to force the correct ratio for the psp and not the ratio your tv uses.
-
@edmaul69 how do i do that? because i literally have it at 1x PSP and still get that problem
-
@kamen-rider are you using ppsspp or lr-ppsspp?
-
@edmaul69 ppsspp. and the ppsspp forums didnt help me with it on retropie. just for normal computer and it said that the font ppsspp uses is bigger than the one the psp uses
-
@kamen-rider if you can figure out how to adjust the resolution / ratio i think it should help the issue. I could be wrong though.
-
@edmaul69 I did do all that. Apparently the issue is the font the ppsspp uses. It is larger than what the psp original font is. That is why it cuts off text. Think i should switch to lr-ppsspp?
-
@kamen-rider i would definitely try it.
-
@edmaul69 that did not work
-
@kamen-rider oh my god. I am an idiot. I never thought to look in the bios folder for the ppsspp and find the flash 0, the thing they said to use when its on normal computer. Ill be checking in a little while to see if it works
-
and it worked
-
@kamen-rider glad to hear. So what file did you need to add?
