[SOLVED] XboX one controller Select button
-
Hi all!
After some research I managed to get my XBONE controller working through BlueTooth, very happy with it!
One thing I cannot seem to do is map the "Select" button correctly (as depicted as "the same button" on the XboX 360 controller on this page https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/RetroArch-Configuration)
Can it be mapped at all? It doesnt seem to react. Any button tests (on PC at least) show it as being recognised. Am I missing something? Because I have no leftover buttons and it is the ideal button for select!

@shoothere Not currently no - will need to wait until our version of SDL2 is updated.

@buzz Ah thank you! Always good to hear it's not me being stupid haha.
I am not asking for an ETA but in this something we can expect on the short term or on a longer basis (several months)?
For now I can easily map it to Right Thumb/R3 as no emulators use those.
Thanx for the reply!

PS: How do I make it "solved"? Is that something the user must do or is it an admin's treat? :)

Great I found this. Has there been a fix for the select button? In my case, the right trigger is also not working. All others are fine. Any thoughts?

Sorry for reviving an old topic, but installing these drivers https://github.com/atar-axis/xpadneo worked for me. One thing to keep of note is when configuring the controller to make sure it matches what it says here for a Logitech Controller https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Logitech-Controller/#l2r2-top-triggers that L2 and R2 need to be +. After that select, and every other button, worked fine for me.
