      Hello
I am on a Pi3 and latest updates for emulators and on 4.2 retropie
I have gathered FB Alpha 2.97.39, MAME2003_Reference_Set_MAME0.78 and MAME4ALL 037b5 full romset, however I am only getting sound using mame4all. I am using the headphone jack and have confirmed that my mame / alpha versions match that of the correct rom collection. the games will open (most) in 2003/alpha and I can play them but zero sound. I have set the output jack to 3.5 in retropie setup, any thoughts as to whats going on? I have been pulling my hair out for weeks trying to get this cabinet working correctly!

@alphafox I think you are asking the RetroPie community to help troubleshoot the Hyperpie-Base.No.Roms-ProjectHyperpie.(55gb), HyperPie Update Pack 1.01 (1.95gb) image. Did I read that correctly?

You need to try loading the official RetroPie image and configure the audio output to go to the jack. When that works, as I expect it will, then you have narrowed your problem to your Hyperpie image which isn’t supported by folks here. You need to be asking the creator of that image, or maybe the community/forum that supports Hyperpie, since we have no experience with it at all, and it could be anything.

@alphafox the image uses Emulation Station but you can always Attract Mode and configure it with your hyperspin artwork. The point is that it will be based on a known, working starting point.
