Hi guys, ive searched the forum loads and have found various topics to try assist me but none seem to work

      my set up is:

Pi Model or other hardware:Pi 3 model B
Power Supply used: 5v supply that came with unit
      RetroPie Version Used 4.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
Controller used: arcade with dual usb zero delay encoder. encoder says "double usb CY-2121"

ive set up an arcade table with 1 joystick and 6 buttons per player (abxy etc.) ive also added a start button and a select button.

i bought the set up from amazon.

ive fitted all wires to both sides of the encoder board the same, i.e all pin outs for player 1 are mirrored fro player 2 on the other side of the board.

initially i was only finding "1 gamepad detected" in emulation station so scanned the forum and managed to find out how to find my type of encoder etc and went in file explorer, added the quirk type line and the id.

the system now shows two gamepads.

i can configure player one in emulation station and then enter the menu in emulation station and then configure player 2. great. both allow me to move around the menu.

when i enter a game none of the controls work, no start, select etc etc

ive seen threads etc saying to load a game, hit select &x to edit them in retroarch but as my buttons are not working, my system doesnt allow this

      any help much appreciated

What did you use to get it to recognize the twin gamepad?

@jozechavez1981 do a search for "zero delay usb qwirk" or something like that. It is something you need to add to /boot/cmdline.txt
