      Hi Guys

I am new to Retropie and Emulation Station. I currently have a pi3 Retropie system and I love it. I play it on my 4K 49" TV and I was wondering, is there a way to have the screen size smaller on the screen? EG.. The games currently play in 4:3 which means the emulated window fills my screen (with black borders left and right).
No mater what settings I change in the Config editor, the screen always stays the same. Ive changed Aspect Ratio and Resolution and it makes no difference.
I want the gaming window size to be smaller on my TV so that the pixles arent as big and looks better.
Does anyone know how I can do this? Im not that savvy when it comes to Linux commands so Id like some kind of a procedure to do this within retropie.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks :)

@retrocraze you may try to set the resolution you want (smaller than your tv native resolution) in the config.txt file and, in your tv video aspect options menu, set "original" or something similar, depending on your tv brand.
