SCUMMVM HELP!

@dogeymon It looks like te ScummVM is a bit different from the other ones and games need to be added from within ScummVM - as @EctoOne suggested.
What version of RetroPie are you using and on what system ?

I’m on 4.3 now. I updated. And what system? What do you mean. It’s on raspberry pi 3. And I know what folder to put roms in. The scummvm folder. I wouldn’t put them anywhere else. I’m just wondering if these are supposed to be single rom files or if they can be how I have them which is all scattered game files in a folder named after the game.

@dogeymon You have to start the emulator and add the games before they appear in the menu. You only need to do this once.

I can’t start the emulator because it doesn’t even show up on the menu.

I’m sorry that page doesn’t help. That tells me where to put roms. I put the roms where it says.

Can someone just take a screenshot of your scummvm folder on your card and your rom folders so I can see how you go them in there?

I put the roms where it says too. I just wanna know what people’s roms look like cuz maybe mine aren’t in the right format or aren’t placed in there right.

@dogeymon You just take the iso (cd image) of a game and ensure that it is fully unzipped into a folder named with whatever game it is. One folder per game. You then launch.

So create a folder in this location...

/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/scummvm

e.g. The Secret of Monkey Island. Place the game files in it.

@dogeymon So in my folder named The Secret of Monkey Island, I have 24 .fla audio files. Two files named MONKEY.000 and MONKEY.001 -the game data. Then MT32_CONTROL.ROM and MT_32PCM.ROM for audio stuff.

Yup so I’ve done everything correctly then and it’s not working

@dogeymon So when you launch the ScummVM GUI, nothing starts? If ScummVM isn't showing in the menu, it probably isn't installed. Did you follow the correct installation procedure? When you start the GUI, you then add the game files. Then, the next time you reboot, the games are showing in Emulationstation and in the GUI.
