      Hi there!

I've been using Retropie succesfully since 3.0 RC4 mainly for 8 and 16 bit systems using No-Intro sets, only with USA releases. Now I'm running two Pi 3, one installed using the 4.2 pre built image and the other with Retropie installed on top of Raspbian with approximately ~4000 rom files, both running flawlessly. I only use game lists, no game metadata or box art. Most of Retropie settings are keep to default values.

Now, I'm pretending to get another 4.3 pre-built image setup with the entire No-Intro sets; and I think It will be more than 10000 files for the systems I use.

Will be a problem to handle such larger amount of files? A performance impact is possible? I did a liitle bit research, but I havenpt found a clear answer.

      Currently using:

      Pi Model 3 B
Power Supply used: Official 5.1V 2.5A
      Micro SD cards: Sandisk C10 32GB 533x
      Controllers: Cheap Generic USB gamepads

Thanks in advance for any help!

          Thanks for your reply @edmaul69

I've just finished configuring the new setup with 16.901 roms plus Kodi. All is working fine!
