      So, if I follow this guide, will I be able to keep one part of my roms on Pi and other part of them on USB?

        You can’t run both at the same time. When using the usb meathod, the directories on the external drive override the internal SD cards directories. You can switch back and forth, but you have to unplug the usb drive and reboot and visa versa.

          @lostless Ok thanks. I have one more question.
          The wiki says that all the roms will be transfered automatically. Can I have auto mount enabled and prevent auto copying?

            Just put a folder called retropie-mount and a Roms folder. As long as those are there, it won’t copy anything. If you don’t have a Roms folder it will copy the roms folder from the sd to the usb memory.
