How to configure wireless mini keyboard for first time?

Slightly confused, when it asks you to configure a keyboard with gamepad buttons ?
can u have your gamepad configured and use ur keyboard aswell when needed to type ? -

Yes, you can use both a keyboard and a controller in RetroPIe, you'd have to configure the keyboard as an Input source in order to be able to use it in games, but you can use it as is in the RP screens where you need to input text (i.e. wifi SSID/pass, scraping, etc.) -
@mitu when it detects the keyboard at startup with the configuration pop up. I had a controller connected up then connected up the usb reciever to use with keyboard and no buttons worked to navigate the RP screens other than the controller.
