SNES screen tearing/stuttering
-
Hi everyone,
I've been noticing some screen tearing/stuttering while playing SNES games. I get a consistent 60FPS with no noticeable dips, but when I start moving my character, the background looks like it's tearing as it moves. I've tested this on my tv (using game mode) and also on a computer monitor, I see tearing on both.
Anyone have settings that provide both audio/visual accuracy with no tearing? Any help or suggestion is much appreciated.
Settings:
- Emulator: lr-snes9x2010
- Video mode: default (1920x1080 @ 60hz 16:9, clock:148MHz, progressive
- Render Res: 640x480
Retroarch Settings:
- Vertical refresh rate: 60 Hz
- Aspect Ratio: 4:3
- Custom Aspect Ratio Width: 1536 (6x)
- Custom Aspect Ratio Height: 1120 (5x)
- Integer Scale: ON
- Threaded Video: OFF
- VSYNC: OFF
- Max swapchain images: 2
- Shader: OFF
EDIT: VSYNC was the answer. Case closed. :P
