I'm building a bartop arcade cabinet. On the sides are two buttons, pinball style. However, the buttons each plug in to the player 1 controller and the player 2 controller.

Now, I load up a pinball-type game and want to map both of those buttons to player 1. I can map the player 1 side just fine (obviously), but RetroArch doesn't register the button on the player 2 controller when I try to map it for player 1.

Is there any way this is possible via software so I don't have to unplug a very inconvenient wire to get to and extend it so it reaches the player 1 control board?
