      Hi, i tried to install zerojays extra scripts, so i did what the git page says
      (git clone https://github.com/zerojay/RetroPie-Extra.git
      cd RetroPie-Extra/
      ./install-extras.sh)
      and then i went to the experiemental section to install chromium. and when it finished downloading i rebooted it and when that happened the splashscreen came and then the emulation station loading came for a split second and then the splash screen came on again and then it took me to the command line i got an error and it says
      [Terminate called after throwing an instance of ´boost::filesystem::filesystem_error´
      what(): boost::filesystem::status: Permission denied: "/root/RetroPie/roms/ports"
      Aborted]
      How do i fix this?

      [EDIT] I forgot to say that the keyboard doesnt work, when i press a button nothing happens onscreen

        @mrmelon Most likely running as root some part of the setup script messed up your es_systems.cfg config file.
        Check the /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg - or /home/pi/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg - file, and see if the systems' paths have been modified from /home/pi/Retropie/Roms/[SYSTEM] to /root/RetroPie/[SYSTEM].
        Modify the file and correct the paths, then just reboot to see if ES works afterwards.

            @mrmelon Are you able to SSH into the PI? If you can please post the recent contents of /home/pi/.bash_history. This shows all the commands entered into the shell. If we can see where you messed up it may make it easier to rectify.
            Permissions on Linux can be a major headache. If you aren't too far into your set-up or have a back-up I would advise starting again.

              @jonnykesh Yea.. i do not have access to SSH whenever i try to connect via PUTTY i get this message [Network Error: Software caused connection abort] I enabled SSH in the settings before this happened but it never worked back then. so i kinda have no access to it.

                  @mrmelon There is no point in bumping your thread if you don't have any additional information to add. It's also considered bad form.
