@darkside1305 I can't see the specs of the fan but if it runs on 5V it should work OK. Connect the red wire to a 5V or 3.3V pin and the black to ground. The white wire is probably for a sensor.

It says 0.18A and 12VDC. And, how would i connect them? Taking off the White Thing, and then?

@darkside1305 It might run off the 5V pin but very slowly.
Yes, you would need to remove the existing connecter and solder the wires directly to the pins or buy some female ended jumper wires and splice them.

@darkside1305 Just buy a 5V fan with connectors already attached. There is one on Amazon UK for £1.10.

It's quite amazing how well a small little 5v fan for $2 works in cooling everything.

@zerojay Are you using one? I have only a heatsink, but I will need one for my next project I expect. I know there are other threads on this topic, but if you have one you like I would take note. I have read reviews of some that say they move very little air, or they are super noisy.

The one I have is a little noisy but I almost never notice it over the volume of whatever I'm playing. I have a clear acrylic case with heatsink already installed and the fan on the top part of the case. It's small and doesn't move much air but the temps have dropped considerably.
