After rebuild EmulationStation, the Quit menu actions are not working anymore.

The files /tmp/es-restart, /tmp/es-sysrestart and /tmp/es-shutdown are properly created when I choose the corresponding actions.

The main problem is: the files still there and the system only quits emulationstation (back to terminal) no matter if I choose restart or shutdown... (doesn't working properly)

The /tmp/es-xxxxxx files still there after all.

It seems emulationstation cannot delete them and also cannot perform the expected action.

The script /opt/retropie/supplementary/emulationstation/emulationstation.sh seems not to be working.

Any ideas to solve it ?

      Thanks in advance

        Solution:

Copied emulationstation from /usr/bin to /usr/local/bin and things worked as normal.
