Hi, today I wanted to use some game genie codes on super mario world. I found one that was definitely one that I MUST use, it requires clicking Start + Select to skip the level, but since clicking start + select exits the game, I won't be able to use the amazing code! I have beat the game before legit so don't call me a cheater :) I'm just asking if there's a way to easily disable that one hotkey? To Disable the hotkey where it exits the game you're playing if you press Start and select at the same time? Thanks!! I am using the Raspberry Pi 3, connected with my own wifi.

@ben-almonte You could set your hotkey to a different button. Just reconfigure your controls for that controller in Emulationstation.

Alternatively, change the game genie code to trigger with a different set of buttons.

@ben-almonte Update to retropie 4.3. Reconfigure your controller. The last button to configure is the hotkey, so you can assign that to something other than select.
