      Raspberry pi 3
      Fresh install if image 4.3
      Mupen64plus-gles2rice-highres (stock from fresh install)

I have had my system up and running for over a year. I had some bumps in the road, but all till a few days ago everything was rock solid. I tried updating to 4.3.5 and then everything started crashing. I was able to back up all my rom directories and do a completely fresh install of 4. 3 from the image here. After setting everything back up I decided to continue my super mario 64 game. There is no selection for me to continue. It is as though I just started. I also tried legend of zelda to the same response. I checked and I have two files a .sra file and a .srm file. I know that different emulators use different files and I've tried different cores. None can see my saved files. Has anybody else experienced this or have any suggestions? I also tried starting a mario game and using a different save slot to see if that would trigger something, but still nothing. Thanks from me and more importantly my wife who lost her zelda game too.

So I found out that after doing a fresh install mupen64plus has changed where it references the game saves in a different folder being .local/share/mupen64plus/save folder. However, legend of zelda does not seem to recognize the .Sra or the .srm file I copied to that directory. Making progress, but not finished yet. Figured I'd post my findings for anyone else having issue or to see if anyone else had any suggestions.
