Rgui Double Keyboard input
-
Hello,
I'm having a problem to where I cannot successfully navigate through the Retroarch's Rgui with my keyboard. Up, down, left and right are fine, but when I try to make a selection, the pressed key always registers as a double press bringing me immediately into whatever menu listing is first on the menu that I am trying to reach. I have the same problem with the back selection, so I end up going forward 2 and back 2 menus, leaving me where I stated.
I generally try to solve whatever problems I can without assistance, but after much experimentation and online research, I have come up with no solution. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Edit:
OK, I got the idea to remap the keys through EmulationStation to something other than "Return" and "Delete". Sure enough the Rgui forward and backward navigation is now being handled correctly through two sets of keys. There is the mapping setting being recognized from ES as well as a built-in setting from Retroarch.
My question can now be narrowed down to: How do I deactivate the built-in keymap that controls Rgui so that the only keyboard mapping being recognized is what was set in ES so that I can use "Return" and "Delete" to move through the ES as well as the Rgui?
Edit 2:
I can't help but think that I could have phrased my question more succinctly.
The defaults for plain vanilla Retroarch have forward and backward Rgui navigation set to "Z" and "X" Whereas in Retropie they default to "Return" and Delete". How would one go about restoring that default in Retropie so that the EmulationStation mappings do not conflict when they are set to "A=Return" and "B=Delete"?
Again, Thanks
