retropie on raspberry 3 access ALL files system via Mac finder
-
Hi
I have a raspberry 3 with retropie
I like to access all file system (all files and folders at any level) via Mac FinderI know how to access via SSH command line, I know that I can access with dedicated file transfer system, but what I'm asking is:
is there any way to access all files system via Finder (MAC) ?
why I see on my mac only few folder (roms bios etc) why I don't see everything ?
how to mount the root of the system so I can navigate / edit / copy deleted all files via UI via Finder?Thanks

@pemy add the root partition to your samba shares. A quick google will explain how if you don't know.

No, because the Finder does not know about SSH. You only have access to the folder that have been 'shared' by the RetroPie system.
If you want full access to the full Linux filesystem, then install something like Filezilla or Cyberduck and connect via SSH.

@mitu
thank you but if that is the case (and I'm sure it is) my next question is:How can I Share other folders from my RetroPie system to my Mac ?
Thanks a lot
Cheers

@pemy Why do you need that ? You got your answer from @jonnykesh above already.

Paragon Mac ExtFS and insert the SD card

I am curious why you would specifically want the Finder for this? Why not use a decent (S)FTP client like Cyberduck or Fugu?
