So, I'm trying to rediscover this old 2D ninja game. i'm thinking it's a Genisis/Master System game, but it may be NES.

All I remember is playing it and early on (maybe the first two levels) fighting along the top of a moving train and (possibly) fighting in a sewer. It reminded me of the Shinobi series, but I don't recall that in any of the games I played. Any thoughts?

I don't know how you figured that out by my description, but you nailed it. Thanks soooo much!
