My nine-year-old found a video last week of a hoax I had all-but-forgotten about. If you don't know the Polybius story, I suggest you go and read about it, watch videos... it's fun. lol. My nine-year-old is all for it.
I incorporated a few things that I found while going over it all with him. The Pepsi Challenge sticker, for example, is something someone placed on a cabinet they built that used a version of the game I used to have for Windows that stopped working when Windows 7 came out... too bad, because that was a pretty good take on the game I thought :D
My nine-year-old found pointed out that there is now a PS4 version of the game, but we do not have a PS4... this one was created by Jeff Minter/Llamasoft, and apparently was good enough to end up featured in a Nine Inch Nails video (not sure how I missed that).
If there is any interest, I can do other background colors or variations of the stripes on the cabinet... or take off the stickers. I added the stickers just to add some nostalgia from that era. Everything is from the time-period that machine was supposedly sitting in arcades in the Portland area and you were likely to see some stuck on a machine.
If anyone wants any other colors, let me know... I will be glad to post them.
