Vice xbox 360 controls issue

Dear all,
I'm using Retropie latest build and Vice, and can configure the Joystick to use my xbox 360 controller, for both Right stick and D-PAD.
However, D-PAD right direction does not work, and instead pops-up the Vice menu :/
Does anyone have an idea of what I'm doing bad or wise advice ?

@mattoo_pie i prefer to use lr-vice and you dont have these issues with it.
