Heya all. I've been playing around with my new controller. All I was trying to do is to configure the buttons so I could get a "kick" in Street Fighter... And after many tries, I must have done something which now doesn't allow me to reconfigure the controller.

I get to the menu of Emulationstation (v2.6.3RP) and the only button that works is the B button. Once I click on it, the window pops up "Are you sure you want to configure input?". The only button that works is B, which I thought it would take me to the next menu where I can choose what buttons do what. But no, B brings it to the main menu in Emulationstation.

Which means I can't reconfigure the controller. I'm banging my head against the walls and can't find a solution.

All I wanted was to set a button to kick in Street Fighter.

      Thank you all

Connect a keyboard and press F4 while in Emulationstation to go to a command line. Start the RetroPie setup script from the prompt with sudo /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh. Go to the Manage Packages, Manage core packages, emulationstation and then choose Configuration / Options' You'll be presented with the option to reset the input configuration for your controllers.

Reset your controller config, then reboot and on the next start up you'll start the configuration from scratch.

I would recommend not buying anything from this company, they use our work on emulators for commercial use, which is forbidden by the license of those emulators. Also, their products are known for being pretty bad quality.
