My first arcade controller
-
I'm a bit excited :)
Finally get my 1st ever arcade controller up and running. It takes a little bit longer than what I initially expected.
All it takes to connect to RetroPie is a USB wire with type-B plug.https://www.dropbox.com/s/ct8curmas503auy/DSC_2292.JPG?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/612e01gihuk0ho7/DSC_2293.JPG?dl=0It works great for the shoot 'em up type of games, as well as street fighter series where precise joystick controls are required for some special moves.
I still consider this is a prototype, because it is not a finished article yet.
I will need to workout a couple of feature:- User configurable rapid shooting
- and perhaps a GUI for more advanced configurations.

Looks quite nice :)

Nice job, it looks good. Now time to have some fun after all that work! ;)

Nice clean job mate!

Oh I hope to get back to work at the firmware asap. Then realise that I'll need to extract the board from the controller box. Something that I am reluctant to do at the moment :)
Have to resolve to build another board:

Oh, these links ^ don't work :(

@PingSpike Sorry. The Google drive "Get shareable link" feature really has some problem. I didn't realise that until you mention it. Thanks.

Adding alternate links.
Let me know if anyone can't see the photo :)
