Pi Zero W in NES cartridge. Christmas present/first build.
-
Here’s my take on the Pi Zero in a NES cartridge. It’s my first build beyond a store bought case, and I’m actually pretty happy with how it turned out. Even more important than my opinion is the fact that the recipient was very excited. He’s 4, loves Spider-Man, and is just starting to really get into video games. What better excuse to fire up the soldering iron, bust out the dremel, and make something that he’ll be able to play for years. Anyway, enough about the back story, here’s what I pieced together in about 4 hours on the eve of Christmas Eve:
Parts:
Pi Zero W
Adaftuit OTG micro usb hub (modified)
HDMI adapter
DC jack and Powersupply
Power Switch (sourced from Adafruit hub)Tools:
Soldering Iron
Dremel
About a gallon of coffee
Lots of spare wireI hope you all enjoy the pictures , I certainly had fun making it.
