Boot to RetroPie GUI
-
Hi,
I've installed RetroPie 4.3 on an old Raspberry Pi B. Things seemed to be going fine however while changing some settings to support a PS3 controller over bluetooth I ended up in a situation where the Pi would only boot to desktop. I made some more changes to allow boot to GUI with auto login however the GUI that launches is emulationstation rather than the RetroPie interface I had previously. Does anyone know how I can boot to the RetroPie GUI instead?
Thanks

Hi Mitu,
Thanks for your post but that's not what I'm looking for. I don't need a desktop environment but RetroPie itself has a GUI (that's not simply emulationstation) which it booted into previously and now does not. It's this graphical menu which I would like to restore.

@joneill I don't know any other GUI except the Emulationstation frontend.
Are you referring to the RetroPie-Setup text GUI - accesible from theRetroPie
system, runningRetroPie-Setup
? It's used for configuration/updates/installations, but it's not the default GUI shown when the system boots up, it's only used when needed.
