Hey guys! I want to start a bartop arcade project with my son but I am confused on where to start. I have been looking at a few bartop arcade kits on Ebay and have used retropie in the past with my Pi2. Planning on getting a Pi3 for the project.

      1. Using the above DIY cabinet, what joystick and buttons should I get? My son and I are more of Street Fighter and Killer Instict type games.

      2. From reading previous posts here there are a few people that like the above Zero Delay USB Encoder. Would this work with retropie?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

        1. joysticks and buttons are up to you, just make sure they fit in the hole, 28mm or 30mm. etc.
        2. I use zero delay usb encoders and it works great with RPI.

I sell a kit you guys could build together... Its not your typical wood w/ vinyl kit you see everywhere.. Its clear laser cut acrylic designed for trackball + good happ buttons, and a 10.1" display.

Here is the one i just finished. let me know if you are interested, I can sell you JUST the laser cut parts if you want.
        thanks

I love your Iowa Hawkeye artwork. Would you be willing to sell or share it? I am building my own home arcade.

          Thank you-
          Matt
