Pi Model or other hardware: 3
      Power Supply used: Not sure
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.3
      Built From: Retropie website retropie-4.3-rpi2_rpi3
USB Devices connected:regular keyboard and mouse
      Controller used: logitec controller
      Error messages received:None
      Emulator: Emulation Station
Instructions used from Retropie site for new install

So I wanted to have both Raspbian Jessie NOOBS and Retropie both istalled at the same time selectable in the NOOBS box. I installed Raspbian Jessie first and got it all up and runnig
then I used the win57imager to image retropie on as the RetroPi site described, but now it automatically boots to RetroPi. I cannot figure out how to make it go to the noobs menu and Raspbian Jessie now,
but based on what I am seeing on the SD card when I look at it it seems like Jessie is still installed. Did I do this wrong or is there a way to get this working the way I envisioned it?

@bigdeal22 I wouldn't waste your time with noobs since retropie is already built on top of raspbian.

I'd start with the retropie image and install the pixel desktop environment afterwards:

@herb_fargus I think he already has. If you read the bit about how he installed RetroPie, he has wiped his NOOBS image and installed the stock image from the site.

@markyh444 right, but op I think is looking to essentially dual boot the same OS using noobs. I means sure it's possible but imo not worth the effort when really all most people want is a simple way to switch between desktop environment / Retropie

If the OP really wants to have a dual boot system with Noobs, he can try using PINN instead (which is an enhanced version of NOOBS with more OS'es to choose from. Including RetroPie).
And to add Raspbian Jessie as available OS, this should help.

@herb_fargus I don't know. I just found it last month while i was researching about different ways to install multiple OS'es for my second Pi. And it saved me the troubles to make my own NOOBS version of RetroPie. In fact i pulled the files from sourceforge and was able to install RetroPie twice on my card. One version that can be directly reinstalled via PINN and one version installed via USB stick. I use the first version to test things and when i mess something up, i can simply reinstall it. And the other version is for pure gaming.

@herb_fargus I guess he's halfway there then already!
