Just recently bought Raspberry Pi 3 but this controller won't work on Minecraft. Should this controller work on normal desktop? In other words should I be able to plug this into the RPI USB and move the mouse cursor around with the controls? I'm new to all this so perhaps I'm expecting something more than actually works. I thought this controller was plug and play without having to code? Or do you have to be running an emulator or have retro games installed? Not tried this on pre installed Python games yet though.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

I'm pretty sure Minecraft for Pi only utilizes keyboard and mouse. This is an old version and I don't believe it's been worked on in years, it's just there for fun.

If you need help we would need the system information from this link in order to know what you are working with.
