RGUI Inaccessible from retropiemenu
-
Right around the time some new themes and sselph was installed, the retroarch menu option in retropiemenu no longer loads RGUI. Can load all other menu items, can load RGUI in game, just not from menu. Reinstalled retropiemenu, runcommand, and retroarch and no luck. Peeled through all log files I could find, been combing the net all day and came up with nothing. It's throwing an error when it tries to load, but error is too quick to capture. Can briefly catch a line number in some file within RetroPie-Setup, but that's all I got. No runcommand.log file either. Any way this can be tested from command line so I can provide the error being thrown? Or a log location where this could be found? Will verbose logging catch it?

@nicshoe18 Running the Retroarch from a command prompt - to simulate running it from the menu:
/opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch --menu --config /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
Here's the command syntax https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/blob/master/scriptmodules/supplementary/retropiemenu.sh#L135

Ok so that loads fine. What other options do I got?

For finding where the error is that’s preventing it from launching from menu. Or should I just deal with the minor inconvenience of launching it in game? Some ocd part of me would prefer to fix it.

Oops, missed you already attached syntax. Will test and provide my findings.

@nicshoe18 I guess you could reinstall the runcommand package and try again.
