@feelloved if you arent using a controller as your player one then you need a mouse to use that menu. However if you dont see a mouse cursor at all when you are in the f10 menu then you have the latest version of lr-vice that is all screwed up and the mouse isnt useable on it. I posted the good version in another lr-vice thread from not too long ago.

@edmaul69 i dont See a mouse courser... what Can i do now ? How Can i install the Older Version?
-
@feelloved have a look here. I posted a link to download the good version in there too
-
@edmaul69 is it possible to Upload your whole image for me! It Doesnt work with the three Files you uploaded in the Other Thread. This Would be very Kind and Great! Because i Want to have a C64 Session with my Friends Next week... Olli

@feelloved i am using aretropie 4.2 image from this site. The only thing that was added to it were the files need for lr-vice. At the moment i need to use pishrink as a 32gb sd card was the smallest i had. I will upload it to google drive and post a link as soon as i finish.
As soon as you get into a game press start on your controller . You will see a mouse cursor. If you press select your mouse should work. I setup the analog stick to work same as the d-pad so both will work as a joystick and mouse.
-
@feelloved stock 4.2 image with lr-vice will be available in an hour and a half.
-
@feelloved here you go. ssh is already enabled and root and pi password is raspberry. once you boot the pi, first thing you need to do is go into retropie menu, raspi config, advanced and expand file system, then reboot.

@feelloved @quicksilver just remember when you update retropie-setup and are going to update packages dont chose update all installed packages. You can update main packages as this is an experimental package though.
-
@edmaul69 is it then possible to update to retropie 4.3 without updating lr-vice?
-
@quicksilver update retropie setup. Then choose update main packages. Just dont choose update all installed packages. Optional and experimental packages just go through and update any you have individually.

@edmaul69
Thx for the Image... the lr vice menu and the mouse work. But now ive Got the Problem that no Joystick works โน๏ธ And if i Hit f12 to configure Nothing works. F12 is like i Hit runstop. Under Retropie everything is Fine!? And idea what ive Done wrong?

@feelloved so the controller setup menu doesnt work. I can create a config file for you. What controller are you using?
-
I use a gamepad and a 9 Pin competition pro Connected with sinchai usb Adapter

@edmaul69 I use a gamepad and a 9 Pin competition pro Connected with sinchai usb Adapter

@feelloved can you post the controller config located in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/autoconfig/ for the controller you want to use on it? You can only have one controller configured for it at a time.
-
Oh i forgot to answer... where can i find the Settings to Send you the file!? I dont get those file trees
-
@feelloved first thing i think i forgot. When in a game, go into the retroarch gui. Go into quick menu then options. Change first player from keyboard to joystick. Also make sure player on controls is enabled.
