      hey all,

is there a way to activate the original playstation 1 intro or startup sequence, which originally played before the game was actually loading? I'm talking about this here:

i really like the intro and find that it adds so much to the nostalgic feeling for me, so if this is possible in any way, i'd be more than happy.

i'm grateful for any help i can get on that topic!

      cheers!

If I remember correctly, the emulators in RetroPie that support this feature aren't fast enough to run the games at full speed. Also, the boot sequence supposedly causes audio issues in certain games.

You can see a simulated boot sequence in lr-pcsx-rearmed by "resetting" the emulator with select-B, but there is currently no way to configure it to start on first launch.

          I AM ERROR.
