      Hi, I've been trying to play PSX, N64 and SNES games on my Raspberry Pi1b with retropie, but they won't work. The games start, but are so slow and laggy that they can't be played normally. Is it true that the Raspberry Pi 1B is just too slow for Retropie?
      I've already tried to overclock to Turbo, I'm using an official 5V, 2.5A charger and I only have one controller plugged in, no other USB-device.
      Is there something I can do to speed it up, so it can work? Or is it just to slow and do I need to buy a new Raspberry Pi version?

        @jowzer The Pi version 1 is too slow for N64 or PSX.

          @jowzer Try to overclock
          1GHz can be done without any backdraws.
          use raspi-configfor this.... and go to menupoint 7 - Overclock and try ;)

          The non FX-SNES games will run fine on the Raspi 1
          N64 are oven hard on the Pi3 ;)

            @cyperghost Thanks, I already did that, but without success. Most SNES games are still really slow and laggy.
