Help in configuring analog sticks using Dualshock 4 in eDuke32
-
Hello, I don't know if I should post this here or in the eDuke forum but I'm having problems setting up my left analog to move around and the right one to just look/aim. I've tried various configurations but it seems that I can't figure it out. Can anyone help me or I'm better off using the PSX version?
Thanks!

@tiagop The analog sticks on my PS3 controller were automatically configured, the left to move and turn and the right to strafe and run. You can check your setup in the config file
eduke32.cfg
that can be found in/opt/retropie/configs/ports/duke3d
.If you wish to remap, then you can do so in the game menu under
Options
->Control Setup
->Joystick setup
->Edit Axes
. A keyboard will be useful in navigating the menus and remapping the axes.If the axes are not working in game, then, once you have started a game, bring down the console by pressing backtick, ` (usually the key to the left of the 1 key), type
in_joystick 1
and press enter. -
@dudleydes Thanks I will check it out, my analog sticks were automatically configured too but I wanted to map the left analog to move and the right analog to aim/look. Maybe fiddling with the .cfg file could tell me more!
