Retropie 4.4 SD card images?

I know you can always just update to the latest, but I'm curious about when the new Retropie 4.4 SD card images might be released.

I don't believe RetroPie 4.4 exists yet. It'll be released and announced in the Announcements category on the forums when it becomes available.

@cloudlink current version is
4.3.10. Disk images are not changed that often. Using the4.3image from the site and updating gets you the same end result. -
I know you can just install or upgrade to the latest version. I was just curious if anyone knew of a time frame for when new images would be available with a new version, since the images seem to be more thoroughly tested and stable.

Seems like a new version is only justifiable when there are enough updates containing meaningful changes accumulated since the last release, or some game-changer features (like all the movement on the EmulationStation front prior to 4.3). I don't think a 4.4 image would be necessary now or in the near future.

Or perhaps it's entirely dependent on when the devs have free time to work on it ;)
