My friend just got a Raspberry Pi3 B to make a nice retro gaming station I love the fact that just plug and turn on and retropi launches as if it is a builtin gaming os. I would like to have the same for my selft but do not have a raspberry. what i have is a laptop that does not work the LCD but can be seen using the hdmi or VGA outputs. It has 4gig and can be booted from a memory card (as the raspberry) i try doing the same install as for a raspberry but it did not boot xD then i check and saw retropi uses arm and my lap not then ... Is posible yo do what I want? I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO launch a OS then the emulator and play... I want to turn on and play control the device using a joystick as the retropi is this possible? If so may you provide some tutorials or links to research? Thanks un advance
